Rainbow Health Australia is teaming up with Switchboard Victoria and experienced First Nations storytellers Common Ground to offer workshops for community members with keen to share their lived experience and to help both mental health services and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations provide safer, more inclusive and responsive care for our diverse communities.
The workshops run from mid-November to early December 2024, including both online and in-person options. Join us for:
- Support to create learning materials for RHA’s training programs and resources – writing, art, video and more
- Skills for purposeful, safe storytelling and self-care in the work
- Connecting to others motivated to make change.
There are also online focus group interviews including for:
- All LGBTIQA+ people
- Older LGBTI people
- Disabled LGBTIQA+ people
- Parents/carers/support people of LGBTIQA+ loved ones experiencing mental health challenges.
