Rainbow Health Australia is proud to announce the launch of the Pride in Prevention Program Guide: A guide to programming for primary prevention of family violence experienced by LGBTIQ+ communities.
The Program Guide is now available:
Like all of us, LGBTIQ+ people deserve safe and respectful relationships with their partners, families and communities. To make this vision a reality, important work is already underway to prevent the violence that LGBTIQ+ people unfortunately continue to experience, but there is a lot more to be done.
The new Program Guide provides valuable support for the expansion of this much-needed prevention work. It presents clear and practical guidance for prevention projects that focus on, or include, LGBTIQ+ people and communities. The Program Guide builds on the previous Pride in Prevention guides to support you in the design and implementation of effective LGBTIQ+ primary prevention programs.
The Pride in Prevention Program Guide was launched on 9 September 2025. View the recording of the launch here.
